Specialised Music Lessons
-
Music is a universal language—an inherited form of creative expression that transcends cultures, borders, and spoken languages. While the Western music tradition offers one structured pathway to understanding music, it may not suit everyone's way of learning —particularly those who are neurodivergent or learn in non-linear, intuitive, or sensory-driven ways.

Specialised Music Lessons are designed to meet you where you are at, and to guide you to where you want to go. These lessons are tailored to your preferred learning style, whether you thrive with structure or flourish in creative freedom. Our approach is flexible, person-centered, and rooted in therapeutic principles that value self-expression over perfection, while moving at a pace that feels comfortable with the student.

We work with a wide range of instruments—including piano, guitar, voice, drums, didgeridoo, percussion, and digital tools like looping stations and studio recording. Lessons may include:
- Improvisation-based learning to encourage free musical expression and confidence
- Sound exploration using acoustic and electronic instruments
- Songwriting and composition as a way to tell stories, express emotions, and develop musical understanding
- Sensory-friendly sessions that support regulation and engagement through rhythm and tone
- Accessible notation and alternative learning methods for those who don't connect with traditional music theory
- Recording and producing your own songs.

Whether you're a beginner exploring music for the first time, or are seeking to deepen your connection with music, we are here to help you find your inner rhythm.
